You’ll build cardio, strength, flexibility, and endurance over time. We find people’s love for the art encourages them to make healthier decisions in their day to day life.

  • What should I wear to my first class?

    If it is your first class uniform in not super important, wear athletic clothes—think T-shirt, rashguard, shorts, or spats (no zippers or pockets). If you're unsure, contact the gym—you can often borrow gear for your first session.

  • Is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu effective for self-defense?

    Yes! BJJ is highly effective for self-defense, especially in situations where fights go to the ground. It teaches you how to stay calm under pressure, control opponents, and neutralize threats without relying solely on striking.
